An upbeat and results-driven PR consultant
An impromptu search for a new job six months out of university landed me at the offices of the British Olympic Association. The following year, Japan was due to have its Winter Olympic Games, and I had just completed a BA (Hons) Degree in Japanese and Spanish from the University of Wales. Two months later, I was sitting comfortably in the offices of the British Olympic Association (BOA) learning how to handle press office enquiries, write press releases and learning about the world of Public Relations and high-level communications. Three years at the BOA catapulted me onto the scene of elite level sport and my love of PR and Communications.
20 years later I am still passionate about the industry and how it can elevate companies, events, people and brands into the spotlight. I thrive on storytelling and encouraging media to use these stories.
Over the years I have used my expertise in PR to work in many different sectors including publishing, (former PR Manager for Good Housekeeping and Country Living Magazine) lecturing on Media at universities, launching new products and restaurants, collaborating with celebrities and athletes, tech and even pharmaceuticals. No matter the brand, I always bring motivation and enthusiasm to my projects and will do the same for yours.
